Richard, their long suffering, ever patient and 'hard done by', companion has landed a new job. He has been taken on as 'Mr Fix-it' at Slater's family holiday park in a coastal resort somewhere in Britain. Living together in a caravan/office on-site, Richard and his ever eager, energetic, and inexhaustible trio of Sooty, Sweep and Soo, are always on call to 'help' Richard with this new venture and keep him out of trouble with Mr Slater! What could possibly go wrong?!!

Every episode creates a new challenge….From fixing the rides, animal zoo, guests' chalet accommodations, bumper cars, watershoot, canoe run, children's rides, ghost train, dining areas, ice cream stand, talent shows, and to collecting supplies from the nearby village shop, farm, station… to a day off on the nearby beach.

Each adventure features music, magical effects, and strong visual comedy, interwoven with charming storylines. Intricate sets and props have been specially constructed. Celebrity guests appear throughout the series in cameo roles for additional appeal.

Episode titles include "The Runaway Bath", "Choco Chimp", "The Swimming Lesson", "Sooty of The Seven Seas", "Beach Patrol" and "Squeaky Clean".
