Background
Manipulation evolved whilst filming test drawings onto video. Daniel observed that his hands, when in shot, cast shadows over the flat drawn image. Seizing on the potential of manipulating a pre-animated drawing with the hands as part of the picture a series of tests were made that proved the idea to be credible. So, begun as an experimental idea from a casual observation, the film developed and grew almost from frame to frame, written, directed, animated, and produced by Daniel Greaves. Model Animation by Shaun Sewter.
