Story
I can't play the piano. I wish I could, but I can't. We have one at home. I'll sit and listen to my daughters play and then I'll try. Sure I can hit the notes but it never seems to be in the right order and it's not even good freeform.
I love the sound, slowly my ears become my eyes, shapes and images begin to appear, allowing me to appreciate the beauty of this instrument and the talent of those who know how to play it. From keys in black and white, so much colour can be created. "Colour Keys" is one in a series of visual experiments, in this case the work of Irish composer Jules Maxwell is featured. It is the nearest I will ever come to playing the piano and that's fine by me.
