Set in a unique kid-oriented "kid"chen, each episode explores
the creation of fun foods that kids can make on their own and
eat. Lead by the energetic Heather McNair and her ensemble of original characters, the kitchen is part practical and part fantasycome- to-life. The pace of the show is high-energy with information segments offset by interludes from Aunt Heather's own house band – "The Drum Rolls" who perform on a stage – which magically converts from a countertop bread box.
In addition to the creation and consumption of kid-friendly meals, children will be reminded of kitchen safety and the importance of sanitary conditions.
There's always hands-on kids' involvement in the actual making of the dish, and finally… YUM, eating-showing the kids' reactions' to their hard work. |
