Studio B, Pesky, Bejuba! Team for Animated Series

VANCOUVER/LONDON, October 14: The U.K.-based outfit Pesky and Tatiana Kober’s Bejuba! Entertainment are teaming with Canada’s Studio B Productions for the animated series The Amazing Adrenalini Brothers!, which is set to air on CITV, YTV and Cartoon Network.

Created by Pesky, the 26x30-minute series is aimed at 6- to 12-year-olds. Bejuba! Entertainment holds television distribution rights with Studio B holding digital rights to the series. Based on the award-winning web shorts of the same name, the series follows the antics, adventures and misadventures of three daredevil brothers who leave behind their little-known homeland of Rendoosia to amaze people around the world with their feats.

David Hodgson, Pesky’s producer of the original shorts and of the new series, noted, “It’s a scream—a very, very, very loud one! But beyond the manic all-action slapstick what’s so great about this show is the light and shade… that’s why it appeals to all ages in all countries. It’s the universally language of physical humor combined with painfully familiar scenes of cultural misunderstanding and family bickering—a comedy classic in the making.”

Kober added, “The worldwide popularity of the original shorts convinced us that the Adrenalini’s were ready for bigger things. The enthusiasm of the broadcasters globally backs our belief that these extremely funny brothers are destined for the big time.”

Studio B Productions partner Blair Peters commented, “You can put these guys anywhere and let the fun begin. In this longer version you will see them meet the Loch Ness Monster, tackle the Wild West and wreak havoc on the Olympics. The series will translate well into other formats outside of TV such as mobile and of course the web, this will be a great franchise.”
